Members of the Board and their brief background : |
A S K B Charitable Foundation Trust was founded by Sri. A S KUPPARAJU and Brothers in the year 1984 with the sole object of promoting educational institutes and in the year 2000-01, Atria Institute of Technology was started. It is also running a school up to 10th standard in its campus.
Late Sri. A S Kuppa Raju who was a founder of the trust, was the founder Trustee of Sri. Krishna Devaraya Educational Trust which is running Krishna Devaraya Dental Colleges, Sir M V Institute of Technology, Bangalore and he was its President for about 15 years. Sri. A S Chinnaswamy Raju, the present Managing Trustee of A S Kupparaju & Brothers Charitable Trust which is running Atria Institute of Technology, was also founder trustee of Krishna Devaraya Educational Trust and was also its President for 3 years. He is also associated with other educational institutes like Vyalikaval Educational Trust, Telugu Vignana Samithi, Vivekananda Institute of Technology and other educational institutes. He was President of All India Builders Association of India and even now actively associated with its activities and presently chairman of Construction academy and research trust of Builders Association.
Sri. A S Chinnaswamy Raju is the guiding spirit of Atria group of enterprises, many industries and hospitality oriented organisations which include Hotel Atria, Hotel Kanishka, Hotel Chalukya, Atria Power Corporation and Atria Convergence Ltd etc.
The Trust is thus, backed by the rich experience of its members as technocrats, builders, industrialists and educationists.

›› Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements
Faculty and H O Ds are informed to give suggestions and requirements in respective of meetings and after scrutiny by the Principal, the issues are forwarded to the Academic Development Committee which in turn takes a decision or refer it back to the Principal for resubmission with the necessary comments. The decisions of the Academic Advisory Committee are brought before the Governing Council for ratification. Important Policy decisions and suggestions regarding the Development and Academic issues decided by the Governing Council are referred back to the concerned bodies for implementation. The decision of the Governing Council is also brought to the notice of the Trust for its approval and financial sanctions.

›› Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance All views expressed by the Faculty, H O Ds, Principal and the student advisory bodies are given serious consideration for implementation after thorough scrutiny regarding the relevance and financial commitment of the issues. |
›› Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance The feedback from the students regarding the performance of the faculty and the facilities provided by the college are taken every year and followed up by the concerned bodies for attending to the issues. |
›› Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students
Grievance of the faculty and the students of the each department is normally addressed by the H O Ds and depending on the seriousness of the issues brought before the Principal for its decision and again depending on the nature of the problem, the issues will be put before the Academic Advisory committee and the governing council. |
