Atria Institute of Technology is glad to sign an MoU with TPCRA (Trade Promotion Council of Robotics and Automation) on 23rd February 2021. This MoU is focussed to equip students and faculty with the skills related to the world of automation. The TPCRA will be conducting the Hackathons/ Ideathons/ Makethons to guide the students on the practical aspects. The team will also be delivering impactful blended courses/webinars/FDP/SDP in the areas of Discovery Education, Blockchain, AI, IoT, AR-VR, Cyber Security, Geospatial Technologies, 5G, Serverless Computing, Robotics, Biometrics, 3D Printing, LiDar, Drones and UAV.

Global Student Solar Ambassadors workshop, IIT Mumbai

Global Student Solar Ambassadors workshop was conducted on Oct 2nd , 2019 to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The entire program was supported by MHRD and coordinated by Dept. of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Mumbai.

This workshop entailed sensitization of participants towards the need of act against climate change, the potential of solar energy to fulfill daily needs and imparting technical skills to students in identifying solar lamp components, learning to use multimeter, testing of solar panel, circuits and battery.

SSA Workshop - Student Solar Ambassador Workshop

The 'Million Solar Urja Lamp (SoUL) Program' (henceforth referred as the MSP) was developed and implemented by IIT Bombay. The objective of the MSP was providing clean light for study purpose to each and every child in rural India, in the fastest possible way and in the most-effective manner.

Being the central coordinating agency, expertise of IIT Bombay in solar technology, operations management, and socioeconomic impact analysis were integrated in the MSP. Assembly-cum-distribution centres were established at the block level (a unit of intervention), in premises of partnering NGOs and Atria Institute of Technology is one among them. Locals from intervention blocks were hired and trained to assemble high-quality solar study lamps, campaign, and distribute lamps to the target beneficiaries (i.e., school students enrolled between classes 5 to 12), thereby encouraging local employment, entrepreneurial skills, affordable power, upliftment of weaker sections of the society and by contributing to the cause of ‘Right to Education’. The event took place in CS&E block where total of 65 school students, 65 college students had participated and event conducted on 23-10-2019.

Gameface.ai is designed to help athletes stay ahead in their game with the help of machine learning and computer vision. The AI has also been intricately designed as a tool for players, coaches, and even broadcasters to get instant analysis of a game. The idea behind taking sports into a whole new level came from Mr. Shaik's love for sports and the passion to always learn more about it. The AI extracts each player's performance data, and analyses every detail of the game, giving the player valuable actionable insights.

A team from IIEC - Indian Institute of E-commerce, came down to Atria, to give a demonstration on DIGITAL MARKETING CDBE(Certified Digital Business Executives) course, around 10:30 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. in Town Hall (main seminar hall). Around 145 students from ECE and ISE attended this seminar.

Go Green

Go Green Initiative taken by Atria Institute of Technology for Plastic free Campus. Going green means to pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations. Green energy initiatives not only help to improve the environment, but also strengthen the economy. The faculty, staff and students have to contribute collectively to develop an eco-friendly sustainable campus and disseminate the concept of eco-friendly culture to the nearby community and wherever possible.

Wild Warrior in Atria

Wild Warrior, an obstacle racing brand, bring India their first season of Obstacle Course Runs in 8 cities over 8 months this year! Their first pre-event, took place on the 4th of August at the Atria Institute of Technology. The SUPERTAG event brought together mixed gender teams of 3 from all corners of Bangalore to compete in the first ever Obstacle Course relay ever held in India. Every participant experienced exciting obstacles like a 6 foot wall jump, a barb wire crawl, challenging monkey bars, an inverted wall and much more. People from all ages participated and were ecstatic about trying something new. Neeraj, a student of Atria Institute of Technology said, “This was my first time, I didn’t really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was able to do and how much fun this challenge can be! This will definitely not be my last obstacle course race.”Charu Sharma, Director of the Pro Kabaddi League, who was also present at the event said, “This was a wonderful event, I think these guys are on to something that’s going to be really big one day. We are all very lucky to be here witnessing it at this stage, I’m sure sometime in the future, we’ll all be saying, I wish we could get tickets to this event!”. The group is overwhelmed by the response to this event and eagerly look forward to its next big event on the 26th of August.
