Tuition Fees :

For year 2007-08 as per the agreement reached by the Government and Private colleges the fee structure is as follows:

55% of seats at Rs.25,000/- (Tuition Fees) to be allotted by State Government through CET.

25% of seats through COMED-K at maximum of Rs.1.25 lakhs

15% NRI seats through Management at maximum of Rs.1.25 lakhs

5% of seats at the discretion of the management at maximum of Rs.1.25 lakhs.

The option of reducing the fees for certain branches is under consideration.

For 2006-07 :

Rs. 15000/- (Concession Fees) Rs.85000/- (Higher Fees) and up to Rs.85,000(management)

For higher semesters, fee varies depending on what was fixed during their admission.

Time schedule for payment of fee for the entire programme.

Within a week of the commencement of odd semester.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Mention the admission test being followed, name and address of the Test Agency and its URL (website). COMEDK, www.comedk.org

Number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified candidates separately [AIEEE/CET (State conducted test/University tests)/Association conducted test]

55% of students are admitted through CET conducted by Government based on CET Test.

25% of seats allotted by Comed-K based on Comed-K test.

15% NRI seats admitted by management.

5% discretion quota for management.

AWAIT NOTIFICATION FROM CET/COMEDK AND COLLEGE

CANDIDATES INTERESTED IN ADMISSION FOR ANY OF THE COURSES OF B.E. OFFERED BY THIS COLLEGE ARE TO APPEAR FOR COMED-K EXAMINATION AND CET EXAMINATION OF THE YEAR.

STUDENTS WHO HAVE PASSED TWO YEAR PRE-UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION (10+2) OR ANY OTHER EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION RECOGNISED BY VTU as equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as optional subjects and any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biology/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Science as any other optional are also eligible. The students should have scored not less than 45% in the optional and 40% in case of SC/ST students.

Admission will be on merit basis on the rank obtained by the student in CET, Comed-K and will be through counseling to be held by CET and Comed-K. Please visit website www. Comedk.org for details of Comed-K examination and be watching the announcement regarding counseling and admission procedure, fees etc of the year.

Date for acceptance by the candidate (time given should in no case be less than 15 days)

Last date for closing of admission.

Will be notified later after notification by the University.

Starting of the Academic session.

The waiting list should be activated only on the expiry of date of main list.

The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal, should be clearly notified.

Will be refunded, if allotted by CET/Comed-K to other colleges either medical or engineering.

CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

Describe each criteria with its respective weightages i.e. Admission Test, marks in qualifying examination etc.

Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.

Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years.
